ecomaids of Waxhaw-Matthews-Monroe

NEW MEMBER: ecomaids of Waxhaw-Matthews-Monroe

It started with mosquitos. After several years of working for a Fortune 100 company in the Charlotte area, Dan Williams (pictured above) started a methodical search for a franchise opportunity. Mosquito Hunters, a franchise offered by Happinest Brands, seemed perfect EXCEPT that mosquito abatement isn’t a year-round activity here. Dan liked what he was learning about Happinest though, and so he shifted his entrepreneurial gaze toward another of its brands: ecomaids. Today, Dan Williams has founded ecomaids of Waxhax-Matthews-Monroe and is one of the Matthews Chamber’s newest members. Welcome, Dan! Ecomaids offers eco-friendly cleaning services. Their products never contain harsh […]

Central Bark addresses the physical, mental, and emotional health of dogs through Small Group Play: Central Bark’s dog-to-handler ratio is 12:1. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy alternating play and rest periods. Every dog receives Rest Enrichment to promote calm rest and positive associations with the crate. […]

Changes are coming to a highly traveled intersection in downtown Matthews. The intersection of North Trade Street and Matthews Station Street will be undergoing construction this summer to improve pedestrian safety. The project, which has been in development since 2017, will raise the intersection, extend the curb, and create hi-visibility crosswalks.
